Healthcare Software Product Marketing Manager
As the Product Marketing Manager, Independent Clinical Laboratories, you create the narrative that will help providers in independent labs understand how myOnsite network and services can help then grow today. In this role, you will develop and execute a compelling content strategy for this dynamic market segment. You possess a deep understanding of technology, healthcare providers, and marketing. These skills will help you diagnose complex technical and business challenges, formulate solutions, and influence stakeholders across cross-functional teams. In this role you will enable marketing and sales with strong market positioning, actionable competitive analysis, and compelling narratives. Responsibilities • Develop and execute a content strategy, taking into account sales needs, solution development roadmaps and maturity, audience goals and other factors. Build world-class assets that excite customers and drive awareness, consideration, and selection of athenahealth in the provider market. • Drive market research programs, and leverage existing research to create novel insights into the provider segment; create compelling external materials on how myOnsite can address their unique challenges • Work across internal teams to ensure coordination and alignment with overall Marketing programs, goals, and direction; serve as the internal advocate for provider solutions, letting nothing get in the way of achieving the pipeline creation and go-to-market goals. • Identify, develop and/or manage the creation of a variety of content types – written, videos, product demos, presentations, etc. – as needed to fuel business and marketing success.
Skills & Abilities • Excellent communication skills; ability to comfortably interact with senior leaders; ability to craft and tailor a compelling message to a given audience and to communicate technical expertise in simple, everyday language to deliver a story that is memorable and useful. • Confidence in planning and executing multiple, complex marketing programs including budget management • Successful track record of working collaboratively across product, engineering, sales, and partner teams to deliver high quality content in a fast paced environment • Highly motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment • Ability to develop primary research, and leverage secondary research, to create novel points of view
Education & Experience Required • Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred • 6+ years of experience in one or combination of the following industries: B2B SaaS solutions (any industry), Cloud Computing (any industry), health IT, digital health, medical devices, other health-related field • Experience building sales collateral, creative assets and other marketing content • Proven experience working with sales teams and sales enablement • Product management experience a plus
